Swimming pool waterproofing in the UAE
Pool waterproofing is the layer that keeps water inside the basin: membranes, coatings or detailing at steps, lights and fittings before or after tiles. It is not roof insulation and not a terrace waterproofing article. Heat, groundwater and a poor detail at the skimmer are typical reasons a shell weeps after filling.

A visit decides if grout, a coating or a larger strip-out is honest.

A small hot basin has more joints per litre; details matter more.

Lights and returns are where many shells start to weep.
Important: We do not name a membrane brand as mandatory, and we do not quote square-metre rates before seeing the shell.

2 Map wet points
Joints, lights, steps and any previous patch.
3 Choose a method
Coating, membrane or local repair — written after the visit.
4 Prepare the surface
Clean, dry enough, and fittings isolated as needed.
5 Apply and protect
Then a fill test before heavy tiling or handover.

Caution: A cheap coating on wet or dirty concrete fails after the first fill. Surface preparation is part of the scope, not an extra slogan.
